How do you get into Credit Derivatives Product Control Industry?

I currently work in the Credit Control department, but i would like to get into Credit Derivatives Product Control Industry. Please advise the qualifications you need in order to qualify... please note i have no A levels or a degree but would like to do an apprenticeship if possible.....How do you get into Credit Derivatives Product Control Industry?
From what you're saying it sounds like you work in credit control for a normal company. Credit Derivatives are financial instruments whereby banks hedge their risk against, for example borrowers not paying back their loans - this is called a Credit Default Swap, or to ensure that they get the expected income stream on a floating rate loan until its maturity - this is called a Total Return Swap.





Okay, you don't have A-levels or a degree but I think it would be possible to get a job in the back-office of a bank in the City. Unfortunately, banks do do apprenticeships.
